Marc Gwynne loves cigars. His passion for the industry has been steadily building and expanding since 2005. Over 10 years ago, while studying at the University of Missouri, Marc took a drive to the local Tinder Box. In what can only be described as an act of Fate, Marc Gwynne walked into the cigar shop and bought his very first cigar. And thus, with one draw of a cigar, the seed was planted. These experiences have, of course, led to some fantastic travels including visiting cigar factories in Honduras and spending time in Little Havana in Miami. Cuban Master Roller Felipe Sosa taught Marc the art of hand rolling cigars the traditional cuban way. That skill allowed for Marc Gwynne to become a cigar roller and return back to St. Louis from Miami with a new skill and business. He soon became the Cigar Sommelier for the Charles P. Stanley Cigar Lounge in St. Louis. Most recently, Marc’s endeavors have taken him to Nicaragua where he has formed a relationship with the Ortez Family. His bond with the family paved the way to the manufacture of Marc Gwynne’s own cigars; the Habano and San Andreas.
